Havaianas Obrigada 2019 - Paint Your Own Origine

It was a fun Friday with my friends from the Davao Bloggers Society because we get to join the Havaianas Obrigada 2019 Paint Your Own Origine Activity with, of course, Havaianas Philippines and Martish Marketing.

The event took place at Think Up, a light and trendy cafe along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bajada. It's a perfect venue to release your creativity and share ideas with your friends. We got to choose our own pair of Havaianas Origine to design and paint whatever we want. I've chosen a white canvas because I love white footwear. 

 

 

Havaianas Origine

It's simple and authentic as Havaianas. To be honest, I did not know that Havaianas has an espadrille line of footwear not until I received an invite to the activity. They redesigned the classic style using their unique sole to give us the feeling of walking on a flip-flop. It is made of 100% cotton canvas so it's comfortable to wear. The cotton threads tend to stretch adapting to the shape of your foot. But I read that with washing the opposite happens. Though it will stretch again as you wear them.

I decided to draw a small yellow crown and a diamond with black outlines. Ate Ria Jose actually gave me some stick-on tattoos from Luna Lifestyle Cafe and I thought it's cute. It was a struggle even if my designs are small. I have never painted a shoe in my life ever! Hahaha!

Roxanne painted Rilakkuma's face on her pink pair. Ate Ria wrote her initials and drew pink hearts. Miel drew flowers too and Sai painted unicorn eyes and leaves. While Andrea who is a true artist, decided to paint flowers and leaves and it really looks nice.

There are displays of the Havaianas Slides in different colors too. They all look nice and comfortable to wear.

I'm proud of my painting and I think it really looks cute. It was fun to decorate your own pair of Havaianas Origine. Especially when you do it with your friends. Thank you Ms. Jade and the Martish team for inviting us once again to your Obrigada event.
