Dayang Beach Resort

Dayang Beach Resort is a new beach I found from one of my friends online. Saw some photos from their recent trip and I would love to go there for a summer getaway. My friends and I planned it for a few days and I contacted the caretakers for a room reservation.

How to get there:

1. Go to Sta Ana Wharf in Magsaysay Park to take the boat ride going to Isla Reta in Talicud Island. The boat usually leaves at 6AM or 9AM and 1:30PM. I suggest you take the early trip so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beach. It will take 45 mins to 1 hr to get there. It took us about 1 hr and 30 mins to get to Isla Reta. The fare usually starts at P60-100. We paid around P80 at that time. When you reached Isla Reta, go to their gate and look for single motors to bring you to Dayang Beach. It will take you more or less than 20 mins to go there and we paid P65. Dayang Beach is actually beside Babu Santa.

Dayang is a good place if you really want a semi-exclusive beach for your friends and loved ones. There are a lot of caretakers who can help you with everything. Safety is not a problem since they have guards on duty 24/7. Day tour starts at P50 and overnight is at P100. They also offer very affordable accommodations for all visitors.

They have rooms like this at P600.

We bought this type of room for P700. They only offer electric fans per room and no outlet. So charge your phones ahead of time or bring power banks. You can actually charge your phones at the store and the island breeze is just perfect.

They don’t charge corkage fees for your food and drinks too! So I find this very amusing! The caretakers can cook food for you if you didn’t bring any. We bought a native chicken for P330. You can actually divide it depends on how you want it to be cooked. We also bought 1 bangus for P220. Then a half kilo of rice for P50. Then they can serve it directly to your room or at the beach. They are just awesome!

Here are some photos around the beach. It’s low tide when we get there, but you can see the whole beach at around 4PM. It’s very clean and no stones.

The best part is that you can watch the sun set.

So far, this was the best summer escapade I had for a long time. I actually spent less than a thousand for the whole trip from our house to the beach and back! If you want an exclusive summer getaway, head down to Dayang Beach Resort right now!

Daghang Salamat sa pagbisita! :)
